My Experience

Carrie Grounds, MD, has been in practice since 2002 after completing her residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

She loves working at Women’s Clinic of Johnson County because she works with like-minded, strong, generous women. She approaches her care for patients not just as a doctor, but as a woman and a mother as well.

My goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive medical care to women at all stages of life.

I want to educate women so they can make meaningful and intelligent decisions about their bodies. I plan to grow and learn from my patients so I can continue to provide innovative healthcare.

I believe that caring for women includes more than just technology and tests—it means building a relationship with them, not just as patients but as women.

Outside of Work

Caring for the women of Johnson County from a woman’s perspective.

Woman, mother, physician. When not working, Dr. Grounds can be found cheering for her 4 children at their various sporting events. She loves running and hiking, especially exploring National Parks! When it comes to escapes, she also enjoys settling in with a good book or listening to NPR and podcasts.
