My Experience

Patricia received her bachelor’s in nursing from Saint Louis University and spent time as a nurse before she went to UMKC for her master’s education to become a women’s health nurse practitioner.

As someone committed to giving back to the community she lives in, choosing to work at WCJC was an easy decision. She shares the overall goal of working toward better health for women and their families in Johnson County.

Listening to her patients’ unique stories and incorporating their specific needs and desires into their treatment is Patricia’s top priority as a healthcare provider.

I chose this profession because I find helping women know their options and make decisions in health care really rewarding.

So many women are caretakers of family and friends, and it’s important to me to help women care for themselves- both in pregnancy and throughout the entire lifespan.

Outside of Work

Caring for the caretakers.
